Fountain Cleaning

Running a chocolate fountain hire business seem to be really straight forward, you buy the kit and make the money.  Well thing are not as easy as they first may seem.  Apart from setting up the business and running the event you are being paid to cover they is another aspect that most people overlook…the clean up.  Believe me this is not an easy task to undertake because a large chocolate fountain takes up a lot of room and when everything is covered in thick chocolate is very hard not to get it all over the floor of your home.

The main part of the fountain is the auger; this is the stainless steel corkscrew like tool that sends the chocolate running to the top.  It runs inside the stainless steel tube and is the most difficult part of chocolate fountains to clean.  For this task you are going to need a couple of bin bags to carry it home or you may find a venue that allows you to clean the fountain onsite, if you nice and pleasant to them that is.
